In line with updated advice from the UK Government, from the 14th September we encourage all guests to adhere to the latest guidance and not meet in groups of more than six people* to help protect themselves and each other when visiting our attraction.

As a COVID-19 Secure venue we can still host larger numbers in total but groups of up to 6 must not mix or form larger groups. We will continue to monitor Government guidance closely.

WIN! A LEGO version of your dog!

Legoland Discovery Centres in Birmingham and Manchester are celebrating International Dog Day on Wednesday 26th August by each offering one lucky dog owner the chance to win a custom Lego sculpture of their four-legged friend.

Anyone who is crazy about their canine can simply head to the Facebook page for either site and comment on the competition post with a photo of their furry friend, a fun fact about them, their name and their age.

The winner will be drawn at random and a Legoland Discovery Centre Master Model Builder (professional, full-time, Lego artists) will get to work building a Lego-brick version of the dog for the winner to collect and take home.

Regardless of whether the winner is a tiny terrier or a big St Bernard, the sculpture is likely to require a minimum of 5,000 bricks and will take at least 50 hours to construct.

Legoland Discovery Centre Master Model Builder, Michelle Thompson, said: “As a dog lover myself, I’m super excited about this competition and to celebrate International Dog Day in true brick-tastic style. We pride ourselves on creating amazing artwork and I’m sure that the prize-winning pooch will make for an amazing subject when it comes to sculpting a four Lego-ed friend.”

To enter the Lego Dog Competition, visit the Birmingham or Manchester Legoland Discovery Centre Facebook pages and post a photo of your furry friend, a fun fact about them, their name and their age.

T&Cs apply. One winner to be chosen by 30th November 2020. Winner will be notified via Facebook. Only one winner will be chosen.
