In line with updated advice from the UK Government, from the 14th September we encourage all guests to adhere to the latest guidance and not meet in groups of more than six people* to help protect themselves and each other when visiting our attraction.

As a COVID-19 Secure venue we can still host larger numbers in total but groups of up to 6 must not mix or form larger groups. We will continue to monitor Government guidance closely.

Why do Merlin Annual Pass Holders Need To Book?

The LEGOLAND Discovery Centres have limited number of tickets available per day and we can often reach our capacity. In order to avoid disappointing guests we have reviewed the way that Merlin Annual Pass holders are able to guarantee their entry prior to arriving at the attraction.

As reflected in the Merlin Annual Pass terms and conditions, we now require all MAP holders to pre-book their timed entry prior to their visit. The booking can be done in advance via our website, and is completely free of charge.

To keep congestion to a minimum we admit guests into the attraction in 15 minute time slots. Each 15 minute slot is proportionally divided fairly between Merlin Annual Pass guests and all other ticket types which include guests who have booked online, via a third party or as part of a promotion. The proportion of tickets allocated for Merlin Annual pass holders is fair and enables us to be inclusive to all families who wish to visit the attraction.

We encourage all MAP holders to pre-book in advance for school holiday dates, as this is when we are at our busiest. Please note, that a MAP time slot may become available if another MAP holder cancels their booking.
